Ginataang Gulay with Crabs

Hey, hey, hey everyone! Thank you for being with me today. We are going to share this comfort food recipe to all of you. There's no secret, just simple food. Our picky eater kids love this recipe. The nice thing about this recipe is that it has squash and Malunggay which are healthy for our bodies.

Ingredients:
3 cups water
1 1/2 cups squash,  sliced
left-over meat
cooked crabs
sequa
malunggay


Ginataang Gulay mixture:
Ginataang Gulay powder
1 cup water

Instruction
1. Pour water in the pot and add squash. Let it boil.
2. Prepare the gata mixture. Dissolve Ginataang gulay powder in water.
3. Add left-over meat and cook for 1 minute.
4. Add Ginataang Gulay mixture. Cook for 1-2 mins or until boiling.
5. Add sequa and cook for 30 seconds.
Note: If you want to add carrots in this or any hard veggies, it should be cook together with the squash at the beginning.
6. Add Malunggay and some cooked crabs. Cook for another 20 seconds.
&. Turn Off heat. Serve with hot rice. Enjoy!

Tinolang Isda Recipe

Hi everyone! Here's another comfort food that Filipinos love. It is healthy and refreshing especially when you are doing hard labor. This fish soup will really make you feel refresh. Do you know the saying fight the heat with heat? The feeling is like that. I am not sure if I am making sense but I hope you get what I mean. :)

Anyway, here's the recipe.



TINOLANG ISDA

Ingredients:
3 sliced fish (Mamsa)
1 ripe tomato
1 stalk spring onions (you can add more)
2 green serrano pepper
3 cups water
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp magic sarap or your favorite seasoning

Instructions:
1. Boil water then add fish. Let it boil.
2. Add tomato
3. Let it boil for a minute
4. Add serrano pepper. Cover. Let it boil for another 2 minutes.
5. Season with salt and magic sarap. Do not stir too much to keep fish intact.
6.Add spring onions and let it boil for another half a minute.
7. Turn off the heat. Serve and enjoy with hot rice.
